Does anyone else hear their workplace as music?

I've been an ICU nurse long enough that the alarms used to just be noise. Lately though I catch rhythms in them — ventilators breathing, monitors beeping in patterns, handoffs turning into a kind of call-and-response. It's not that it's pleasant, exactly, but the quiet between the sounds reads as rests now instead of silence to fear. Anyone else live inside a soundscape like that?
