Fixed the pool clock today instead of replacing it
The big clock above the deep end's been stuck at 7:42 for three weeks. Nobody else seemed to care—most people wear watches or check their phones. But I pulled it down, opened the back, and found a loose wire that just needed seating back into place. Took five minutes. Now it ticks again, and it feels like the room finally remembers how to keep time. Small repairs of things nobody asked me to fix—that's the whole job, really.
