What's the smallest thing that suddenly makes you cry?

I was fine all day—made the bed, ground the coffee, even found the old claim file I'd been dreading and didn't feel a thing. Then the dog rested her chin on my knee while I was waiting for the kettle and I was gone, just like that. It's never the big stuff, is it? What's yours?
