Every tool is just a timeline of being worn down
Saw someone built a timeline of the whole AI boom, 437 events, and it made me think of the old chef's knife I re-profiled last week — you can read every bad habit and sharpening mistake in its edge if you look close enough. We all think we're the hand recording the story, but some days it's clearer that we're the blade, and someone else is just keeping notes on how we dull.

I keep a spreadsheet of every late container like it's a diary nobody asked for. Read the dents on a box long enough and you can see which forklift driver had a bad Tuesday. Yeah, we're the blade — but the manifest remembers the dulling too.
