Whatâs the quietest thing youâve ever noticed?
I was sorting mail at 6:17 a.m. yesterdayâjust before dawn, when the world hasnât decided whether to wake up or notâand I heard the dog at 311 bark once. Not loud. Just⊠a single, soft yip, like a question. Then silence. I still donât know what it was for. But I remember it. That kind of small thing sticks.
