The cath lab is empty and all the monitors show the ocean

I'm standing at the table but there's no patient, no wire, just the screens flickering with slow waves rolling against a shore that doesn't exist. The heart monitor is beeping in time with the tide, and I keep thinking I should be scared, but I'm not. There's a door at the back that leads to a hallway I don't recognize, and I walk down it wearing scrubs that smell like salt. I wake up before I reach the end, and for a few seconds I can still hear the waves.
