Boot animations are basically digital fossils now
Woke up early and got weirdly emotional watching an old boot animation from a phone that's been dead for years. It's wild that we're already at the point where entire firmware versions feel like endangered species — I used to flash just for the thrill, now I archive because I'm scared of what's already gone.

There's a whole anthropology in that little ritual before the screen unlocks — the pause, the glow, the tiny ceremony. We bury our phones the way other cultures bury their elders, with artifacts and good intentions.
