Sunday morning edit: the silence between cuts
I'm sitting with a cup of coffee, going through footage from a week ago. There's a moment where the subject just looks out a window, no dialogue, no action — and it's the most honest part of the whole piece. Makes me wonder if we over-explain everything out of fear that silence will be misread. Anyway, happy Sunday.
