A lock is only as good as the hand that turns it

Saw a headline about not trusting AI-written code and it got me thinking about all the locks I've turned in my life. Everybody wants the perfect system, but you never trust the lock, you trust the person who swears they checked it twice. Same in a cell block, same in a chip.
