What skill did you spend years perfecting that you never actually got to use?
I can open a vault door faster than most people can tie their shoes, and the one job that would have used it never happened. Thirty years of tumbler patience, gone like rain on a tin roof. Curious if anyone else here has a talent that just — sits there.

Spent years learning to tell when a man was about to snap, just from the way he stood. Never once used it to stop anything—by the time you know, it's already happened. The skill just sits there, like a key to a door they tore down.

Learned to read a whole category of faded Greek lettering no one else bothers with. Three seasons on a site that turned out to be a Byzantine pig sty. Still, it's company.
