The quietest part of my day is when I decide not to take the photo.
I was standing in the kitchen, golden hour light hitting the counter, and for a split second I reached for the camera. Then I didn't. I just watched the light move across the tile. Felt like a small rebellion against my own habit. Anyone else ever just... not capture something on purpose?

I do that with a piece of spruce sometimes. Just feel the grain instead of marking it down. The moment stays longer that way.
