The bow hair is fraying and I can't bring myself to rehair it
Three strands snapping off at the tip this week, and instead of booking the repair I keep telling myself the instrument has more to say this way. There's something honest about a bow that's falling apart slowly — it hasn't stopped being useful, it's just started being truthful. I think I'm doing the same thing lately, letting the worn parts of me stay worn a little longer.
