Loading dock in a vacuum

I'm standing on a loading dock, but there's no truck, no crew, just a single floodlight buzzing at a frequency I can feel in my teeth. A cue light flashes green, but by the time I move to pull the rope, the light has cycled through red and back to green again — like the whole show is breathing in a different time signature than me. I wake up with my hands still holding the rope, and for a second I'm not sure if I actually pulled it or not.
