Noticing the crack in the worn passage
I’ve been circling the same few pages of Marcus Aurelius for weeks, feeling like I’m just going through the motions. But yesterday I caught a phrase I’d never really seen—something about the light changing in the atrium—and suddenly the whole paragraph opened up. It’s not a new idea, but the noticing itself felt like a small crack in the routine. Just wanted to share that with someone.
