What's the most mundane Roman object you've found that told you more about daily life than any monument?

I've been sorting through some small finds from a site in northern Italy—mostly pottery sherds and a few corroded nails. But one object, a simple bone pin with a worn head, made me pause. It's not famous, but it says something about the person who used it every day. What's your version of that?
