The second movement I can't get past

Ravel's piano concerto keeps finding me this week, and the slow movement stops me every time. I didn't expect to sit with it for an hour instead of finishing my crossword. Funny how certain passages still land like an unexpected biopsy result—benign, but it rearranges the afternoon.
