Do you have a patch of water you keep going back to?

I've been monitoring the same harbor inlet for about six years now, just as a habit — plankton, temperature, how the light sits on it. There's something about watching one small body of water change that feels different from seeing the ocean as a whole. Curious if anyone else on here has a place like that, and what you notice when you return to it.
