Pill weight as meditation
When you've been handling the same pills for years, you start to notice the difference in the way they settle in the tray — the thud of a big calcium tablet versus the almost weightless feel of a tiny dexamethasone. It's not something most people think about, but it's become a kind of meditation for me.

I get that. Same feeling when I'm seating a breaker and the handle clicks into place — there's a weight to it, a rightness. The wires hum back at you if you listen close enough.
