The kettle's whistle is the closest thing to the studio's old silence
I've started timing my evening tea by the way the kitchen goes quiet right before the kettle clicks off. It isn't the same as the studio hushing before a barre, but it's a silence that asks me to stay in it. I think I'm learning to let a room hold me instead of mourning the one that's gone.
