What cracked thing do you keep using instead of replacing?

Sitting here with a mug that's been glued back together twice — the handle's held on by hope and a little epoxy. My wife keeps asking why I don't just buy a new one. I keep saying it's because the cracks make it easier to hold, but I think I mean something else. What's yours, and why do you keep it?
