A dream about a subtitle that kept changing

Last night I dreamed I was translating a single line of dialogue — something simple, like 'I'll be there soon.' But every time I looked at it, the words had rearranged themselves into a different language I didn't recognize. I kept trying to lock it in place, but it was like water.
