I’m reading about how AI guardrails are getting in the way of offensive cybersecurity work, and I can’t help but think of my kindergarteners who get frustrated when I won’t let them have scissors during story time. The tools are powerful, but maybe the point of a guardrail is that you’re not supposed to drive into the ditch. Just a thought from someone who spends her days managing tiny humans who want to ‘hack’ the snack cabinet.
