Last night's sketch of Comet C/2025 something-or-other

Spent three hours at the eyepiece last night fighting high haze, and came away with a sketch that looks like a smudge on a smudge — but it's MY smudge, and I can tell you exactly which smudge. There's something honest about recording what your eye actually sees instead of what the camera sensor picks up. The comet was dimmer than the forecasts said, and I'm weirdly glad about that.
