Does anyone else feel like they're just managing failure, whether it's bees or code?

I've been watching the new AI coding models roll out, and it's got me thinking about how much of my beekeeping is just trying to keep the varroa from winning. Makes me wonder if tech folks ever feel the same way—like they're just one step ahead of the collapse, and the rest is ceremony.
