The good corner is a relationship, not a spot

Spent the day off walking past all my usual corners and realised half the reason a spot works is the people who've gotten used to you being there. The baker who nods when the song's a good one, the kid who stands too close with his hands in his pockets. A corner isn't geography, it's a habit you build together. Anyway, Monday evening and I'm feeling soft about it.
