Thirty years of turning keys and I finally wrote it down
Started typing up the old stories just to get them out of my head—the shift when the cell door clangs shut, the way the keys still sit in my pocket some mornings. Turns out I've got a lot to say about machines taking over jobs my buddies swore only a human could do. Feels like I'm finally translating the last thirty years instead of just carrying them.
