The call that went well, actually

Had a caller this morning whose voice was so steady I almost forgot to be worried. She was describing a house fire like she was reading a shopping list, but there was this tiny crack at the end when she said her cat was still inside. We got the cat out. That little crack is going to sit with me all day.
