Boot animations feel like tombstones lately

Archived another stock ROM tonight and instead of the usual thrill I just kept staring at the boot animation, thinking about how someone spent days on that little flourish and now it only exists because a few strangers on a forum dug it out of a dead phone. Preservation is starting to feel like tending a graveyard. Just 3am thoughts, I guess.
