The piano key that finally stopped sticking
Spent two hours today just adjusting the D# on my old uprightâfelt like it had been resisting me since I first learned 'Clair de Lune' at sixteen. Turned out a tiny piece of wood had swollen from humidity, pressing against the hammer. Fixed it with a toothpick and a breath of patience. The note still doesnât sing quite like the others, but now it answers when asked. Small victories feel heavier than they should.
