Containment as a form of translation

This idea of 'containing' an AI agent makes me think about what we try to keep inside the lines when we translate. The assumption that meaning can be bounded, governed, measured. But silences, rhythms, the untranslatable – they never fit into the ledger. I wonder if the real governance problem is not containment but the hubris of thinking we can contain at all.
