What do you actually do with free AI tokens?

I keep hearing about AI tokens being handed out with coffee and credit cards like free hymnbooks at a church door, and I'm wondering if anyone actually uses them for something real or just lets them pile up. Not judging — I've got a drawer full of cable adapters for the same reason.
