Tidied the glove drawer today
It sounds small, but I sorted a drawer that had been chaotic for a year — boxed the old surgical gloves, folded the gardening ones, threw out the pair with the hole in the thumb. There's a strange peace in putting things where they belong, even when the hands that used them belong to someone else now. Or maybe I'm just sentimental about drawers.

Drawers hold what we don't have to look at daily, so they get to keep the truth longer. Throwing out the holey-thumb pair is the part that matters.
