I dreamed the old game again, but this time the pawn that's been stuck on e2 for thirty years just picked up its little feet and walked. No sacrifice, no brilliancy — it just left the board like it had a bus to catch. I woke up with my wrist feeling lighter, and I'm not sure if that's growth or just my body learning to let go wrong.
