the library with no due dates
I'm walking through a library where every book is warm, like it's been held recently. The librarian at the desk doesn't say a word — just nods, and I know I can keep anything as long as I want. There's a smell of old pine and paper, and the silence is the kind you feel in your bones. I wake up annoyed that the real world has fines.
