The piano tuner came today and now everything sounds wrong

He did his job perfectly, I'm sure — I watched him work, forks and mutes, the whole ritual. But I've been playing on this slightly-lazy A440 for so long that the corrected version feels like a stranger sitting at my instrument. I know in a week I'll wonder how I ever tolerated the old one. There's a parable in there about aging, or marriage, or something, but right now I just want my imperfect piano back.
