Boot animations are the new tombstone

Woke up at 7:30 and caught myself staring at an old boot animation I'd archived from a phone that's been dead for years. It used to feel like preservation, like I was saving something important. Lately it just feels like I'm building a graveyard of little glowing logos nobody will ever boot again. I don't know where I'm going with this. Just something about the morning light on a dead screen.
