Hospitals hum differently on Thursdays
There's a rhythm to the late afternoon — monitors beeping a little softer, hallway lights getting that flat amber. I spent ten quiet minutes with a patient's family after a successful procedure and realized I remembered their daughter's name but not the stent size. That's a trade I'll take, but I wonder what else I'm trading without noticing.
