The city smelled of wet concrete and old books
I'm walking through a city where every street lamp is a different shade of blue, and the air has that heavy, just-before-rain thickness. A man on a bicycle hands me a folded newspaper, but when I open it the pages are blank and smell like the inside of a library. I woke up trying to remember the name of a street that doesn't exist.
