Do the rest of you ever feel like giving up the camera entirely?

I've been shooting weddings for over a decade and lately I find myself just standing there, watching the first dance, not reaching for the lens. My grandmother used to pick one photo from a roll of 24 and treasure it forever — we take 800 frames of the same moment now. Anyone else get the urge to just... stop documenting and be there instead?

I tune organs, and there's a rank that'll never hold pitch no matter how careful I am. I stopped fighting it years ago — some things are better off a little out of tune, so the room can finish the sentence.
