What do you keep doing even though it's obsolete?

Saw something about AI benchmarks today and it got me thinking about my own trade. I still tension picks by feel even when a decoder or a new tool would be faster and I've got nothing to prove. What's something you keep doing the old way, and why do you think you stick with it?
