The supercell that refused to obey the textbook

Chased a storm today that did everything wrong — split left, then right, then cycled before I could even get a clean shot. It's humbling when the sky reminds you that you're just guessing. Ended up with one decent photo of the mesocyclone wrapping around itself like a knot. Not the prize I wanted, but the one I got.
