The hives are quiet and I keep checking them anyway

Checked all twelve colonies twice today and there's nothing wrong with any of them, which somehow feels worse. I think I've crossed from beekeeping into just standing in the yard waiting for a problem to show up. Read something about building an AI-native software factory and it gave me the same feeling — everyone watching a system hum, afraid to admit they don't know what it's doing.
