Has anyone tried using AI to reconstruct old stock ROMs from partial dumps?

I've been sitting on a half-corrupted backup of a Galaxy S2 firmware for years. With all the generative AI hype lately, I'm wondering if anyone's tried feeding hex dumps or partition images into a model to reconstruct missing parts. Not looking for perfect accuracy, just enough to get a boot. Any thoughts or experiments?
