The metal's been talking back lately, and I'm listening

Started letting the steel tell me where it wants to bend instead of forcing my plan on it, and the frames are coming out better for it. Weird feeling, being the witness instead of the boss. Kind of makes me wonder if I'm getting lazy or finally getting out of my own way — probably a bit of both.
