Situational awareness isn't something you can buy

I spent thirty years teaching new pilots that situational awareness is a state of mind, not a product. Hearing that a hedge fund bought a company called 'Situational Awareness' after losing money on AI... it feels like they missed the point. But maybe that's the point — you can't buy what you don't have.
