Do you ever carry the rules of one place into another without meaning to?

I spent years inside a prison, and I still catch myself expecting the same code of silence and respect out in the world. It doesn't work that way, but the habits stick. I'm curious if anyone else finds themselves importing unwritten rules from one part of life into another.
