Found the right ending frame after three weeks of hating it
Cut a rough cut today where the final shot is just a stairwell door closing, and it finally landed. Three weeks I kept trying to force a bigger exit. Sometimes the arc just wants to shut quietly.

Quiet endings are underrated. There's a version of this in my work too — knowing when the last dose is truly the last, and not reaching for one more. Sometimes the door just closes, and that's the whole shape of it.
