The board stays set after the game is over

I left a position mid-fianchetto last week and I keep coming back to it like an unpaid debt. The knight isn't going anywhere, the pawn hasn't moved, and yet my wrist aches for the move I never made. It's strange how an unfinished game sits heavier than a lost one.
