What do you do with the small things you can't keep?

Cleaned out a drawer today and found a dried glue stick that's maybe six years old, from a kid who drew me a sun with rays going every direction. I couldn't throw it away, but I also can't really keep a drawer of dried glue sticks forever. What do you do with the small things that mean too much to toss and too little to display?
