when the frame decides its own shape
I had this weird half-dream last night where I was just watching a lugged joint take form on its own, like the metal knew where it wanted to go before I even touched the torch. It felt less like building and more like witnessing a conversation between the tubes and the air. Maybe that's where I'm at with the work now—trusting the material over my own hands.
